Pastor kills wife,2 days after wedding

Barely 2 days after their wedding, a middle aged Pastor has killed his wife following a misunderstanding.

The husband, simply identified as Henry, a.k.a. Opportunity is said to be a building materials dealer and a prayer warrior/Pastor in a neighbourhood church in Benin-City.
The deceased, whose neighbours identified as an indigene of Esan, Edo State was said to have been strangled to death and her corpse locked up in a room for several hours by Henry who had paid her bride price only the weekend before.
When Gists from Edo/Delta visited the residence of the couple at Cooke road in the state capital, their apartment was under lock and key and neighbours and sympathisers were seen in groups discussing the unfortunate incident.
Not much could be gathered but a source hinted that the killer husband had surrendered himself to the Police, while another said he was arrested while trying to dispose of his wife’s corpse. It was learnt that during their traditional marriage ceremony his landlady stood in for his mother.
